1. Out Of Bounds (Rule 27-1)
(a) Beyond any of the fences forming the course boundaries.
(b) Beyond the lines of white stakes adjacent to the boundary fence on the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th holes.
(c) Beyond the lines of white posts to the right side of the 9th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, and 18th holes, to the left side of the 16th hole and the rear of the 6th, 8th, 9th, 15th and 18th greens.
(d) The car park, Club House, Professionals Shop and all artificially surfaced paths in the surrounding area.

2. Water Hazards (Rule 26)
(a) Ordinary water hazards - yellow stakes - Rule 26 - 1a + 1b applies.
(b) Lateral water hazards - red stakes - Rule 26 - 1a, 1b, and 1c applies.

3. Obstructions (Rule 24)
(a) Stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions. Rule 24 - 1 applies.
(b) When playing the 3rd hole the white/green posts delineating Out of Bounds for the 16th hole are deemed immovable obstructions.
Relief without penalty may be taken - Rule 24 - 2b(1).
(c) Fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained, Rule 24 - 2. In addition, if such an obstruction on, or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows :- if the ball lies off the putting green, but not in a hazard and is within two club-lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the bally lay which (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids such intervention, (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green.

4. Ground under repair - Play prohibited (Rule 2)
The garden area adjacent to the practice putting green is G.U.R. from which play is prohibited. Relief, without penalty, MUST be taken. Rule 25-1.

5. Practice (Rule 33 - 2c)
Practice is permitted on the day of a stroke play competition, or between rounds, on the practice putting green and also within the practice chipping area adjacent to the 2nd teeing ground. During normal play the practice putting/chipping greens area are wrong greens and Rule 25 - 3 applies.

Penalty for breach of local rule: Stroke play - 2 strokes. Match play - Loss of hole.
Distance markers: Green posts either side of fairways are 150 yards from the front of the green.
